While we provide water for events everywhere we are especially pleased to hear that Scottish water is now officially, the best in the world.
There are a number of festivals taking place in Scotland this summer, not least the Edinburgh Festival, so head to these to get a taste of the best water the world has to offer.
Maybe its those highland springs, or maybe it is the stringent regulator in charge, either way it is the safest you will find anywhere.
The Drinking Water Quality Regulator for Scotland (yes that really is a thing) found that over 99.91 per cent of the water it tested passed its stringent tests.
“Consumers can be confident that when they turn on the tap, the product they receive meets some of the strictest water quality standards in the world.
“This year I have been struck by the many excellent initiatives within the company to apply science to gain a better understanding of water quality and treatment processes. This work will deliver benefits in ensuring processes are more resilient and improve the service received by consumers. I am especially keen to see a reduction in the number of water quality incidents reported to us by Scottish Water,” the regulator told The Scotsman.
These findings represent a significant improvement over the past 15 years.
So if you are heading to a festival in Scotland this summer, feel confidence that the water you are drinking is not only the tastiest, but also the highest quality in the world.
